Putting Your Retirement Vision Into Focus

In your last tip we talked about vision and the importance
of you having your own dreams.
Your vision gives you the internal drive to start following
your dreams.
Now, you have to start assessing where you are with your retirement.
The number one rule you want to know about before retirement is this….you’re gong to need about 75% of your current income
to maintain your lifestyle in retirement.
Let’s put that into perspective. If you’re making $100,000 a year
preretirement, you need approximately $75,000 in retirement
to maintain your lifestyle.
There are some factors that influence these numbers, such as
debt service, cost of living expenses in your area, household support, lifestyle expectations and more.
You need to measure where you are with you assets and liabilities and do a balancing act by increasing assets and decreasing liabilities over time BUT not increasing liabilities in the
the process.
Spend some time over the next week to discover what is really
important to you and make a profile of where you are with your net worth.

starting point.
