Over the next two editions of this newsletter I want to talk to
you about how to start your own very lucrative subscription web
site. I know this is an area of interest for many readers so let
me get straight into the action.

The reason I’m so excited about this is because recurring
income is the secret of the rich. Rather than having to sell one
product like an ebook over and over again you get people signed
up and then you earn a monthly income from each subscriber. Done
properly membership sites or subscription sites can make massive
amounts of cash. In this issue I’m going to concentrate on
creating content for your membership site (it’s a lot easier
than you think) and next week I’m going to be teaching you
about search engine optimization and how you can get a ton of
traffic to your site without spending a penny. Sound good?

For some reason many people think running a membership site is
going to be a real hardship. Content should not be something
that worries you because it’s easy when you know how. Your
only job is marketing and done correctly even that can be done
in just a few hours a week. Obviously the harder you market the
more money you’ll make.

I bet I can think of the one question going through your mind.
“Membership sites sound great but surely I’ve got to be an
expert in a niche to run one?”

There’s a simple way round that. In order to have real success
with membership sites you want to come across as knowledgeable
about the subject. However with some niche markets I do
understand that is not always possible. No matter. Using this
simple trick you can not only become an overnight expert but you
can also create three months of content in just three days.

The secret is teleseminars. This is where you record a live
phone conversation between two people. It doesn’t even have
to be between you and someone else as I’m about to explain.

Let’s say your membership site was on gardening. You wanted to
create a months content on the perfect lawn. You could type in
something like “lawn expert” into google. With a little
searching you could find someone who was knowledgeable in the
subject. All it takes is an email to them explaining that
you’d like to set up a teleseminar and have a forty five
minute conversation with them on creating and keeping the
perfect lawn. At the end of the conversation they can pitch
their product or service to your members and make some sales.
This is a technique used by the millionaire gurus time and time
again.

All you need to do is write down some questions, send them to
the expert a couple of days before hand so it’s no surprise
and on the call simply interview them. After the call the
teleseminar company will send you an audio file to download and
you upload it to your web site. Voila. You’ve just created a
months content and you will be seen as an expert too.

If you’re not happy about interviewing people you can hire
someone at www.guru.com to do it for you. You can get people for
just a couple of hundred and ten members paying you $29.97 a
month would mean it’s all self financing!

To make the membership site even more valuable go to article
directories like www.goarticles.com or www.ezinearticles.com and
upload ten or twenty articles a week. You could also hire a
writer to write ten articles from elance.com. Tip. If your
looking for experts to interview go to the above web sites, type
in your niche keyword and then search through the article authors
web sites you’ll find tons of experts.

Can You Really Do This? The answer is an unequivocal yes. Anyone
can pick up a phone and ask a few questions, or know someone who
can. If not hire someone as I have said. And other site owners
will be chomping at the bit to be interviewed I assure you
because not only can they pitch their products or services to
your members but they also gain more recognition as an expert.
Remember you only have to find twelve a year to create a years
worth of content.

However I do understand that teleseminars might not be the way
you want to go so here’s a n absolute gem of an idea.
Use the public domain. The public domain essentially means a
works without copyright. There is so much public domain content
out there that you can snap up and create information products
and content with it’s untrue. Go to www.abebooks.com and click
on more search options. Then in the published to max box put 1923
and select U.S.A. In the keywords box put in your niche markets
main keyword.

For example I went there and typed in “trout fishing” and
selected 1923 as the max published date and U.S.A as the
country. I got 530 results and within fifteen minutes had found
over a dozen books that would be packed full of quality content
that could be used for a trout fishing membership site. I could
legally steal the information, repackage it as articles, create
audio or even video and then I’ve just created content without
any real thinking.

If you are to go this route make one hundred per cent sure the
books don’t have Any copyright and then you can do with them
as you please.

I’m telling you now that online video and audio is getting
bigger, and bigger and bigger with every single day that passes.
No matter what niche market you enter you can dominate it with
online multimedia This is another way to create amazing
membership sites quickly and easily. I can guarantee that you
know someone who is an expert in something. Do you know someone
who cooks great Mexican food? Is your kids best mate a cricket
teacher? Can you make knit amazing jumpers?

All you need is a video recorder or tape recorder and a bit of
imagination and you can create an instant product and membership
sites. Want another idea? Ring up your local adult college and
ask them what classes they have available. Contact the tutor and
ask if you can record the lessons. Tell them you’ll provide
each student with a DVD/CD of the class.

The possibilities with membership sites really are endless. Get
your thinking caps on. Go to

make sure people are searching for information on your idea
(4136 people a day search for information on how to tie ties,
knots, sarongs etc. Trust me anything can be turned into a
