Resolved Question: In the paper, the federal gov’t was advertising jobs $12-40/hour.Called & they want $$ for their info - legit?
So I opened up the classifieds, saw that the federal government was advertising work from $12-$40 and hour. It gave me a 1-800 number to call. So I call, an operator picks up, and asks me a few questions, then says she can send me all of this information along with a study guide and a practice postal test for a little ol′ fee of $69.99 plus shipping. Sounds weird that the federal government is asking for money to get information that I’m pretty sure is…”free” …?? … Is this a scam?
